Aboriginal / Cultural Experience
Metepenagiag Heritage Park (Meh-deh-bâ??nag-ghee-agh) is guardian of two of the most significant aboriginal archaeological sites in eastern Canada. View ancient artifacts, interactive displays, a 20-minute film, exhibit hall, tipiâ??s, converse with Miâ??kmaq Nationally Certified Heritage Interpreters, make bread in an open firepit, explore for geocachesâ??, guided tour of our walking trails where you will be introduced to natural medicines, edible plants and wildlife viewings. The trails pass over a newly discovered archaeological site by the river and these same trails will take you to the beautiful Red Bank Lodge that offers accommodations and dinning. Also visit and shop for Indigenous art work in our Gift Shop.

Enjoy the great outdoors by taking a walk on our groomed walking trails. These trails take you right down to the river and will also lead you to the neighbouring Metepenagiag Heritage Park.
The Lodge has 10 comfortable bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Each room has its own private entry out onto the wrap around deck. The rooms can also be accessed through the main lodge. The deck is screened in during the summer to provide guests with even more comfort and protection. Cable TV is available in the rooms. All rooms are non-smoking.

Relax in our comfortable private loft overlooking the dining area. Put your feet up and relax on our comfy sofas, or sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. If your a small group booking the lodge, your welcome to use this area as an informal meeting space. Guests will also enjoy the free wireless high speed Internet that can be accessed anywhere in the lodge. A television is provided along with games, cards, and reading material.

This beautiful 10 bedroom cedar Lodge sits on the high banks overlooking the Little Southwest Miramichi River and is just 20 min West of the City of Miramichi. Each room has a private bathroom; access to the guest kitchenette that's stocked for your continental breakfast; access to a BBQ; screened in deck for your comfort; air condition.
Looking to experience some outdoor adventures, the lodge also has access to its own fishing pools and walking trails. Along these trails there is much flora & fauna to explore and view. Located within walking distance from the lodge is one of NB's newest attraction, the Metepenagiag Heritage Park.
Along this same river route, just minutes away is a river tubing adventure, Stewarts Tubbing. There is also a zip line adventure.
