This wonderful 2 level cape is located in Bonnet Shores, one of the best quaint, enchanting beach and boating communities in all of Rhode Island. Just 1 mile from secluded Kelly Beach. Perfect for large families or two families vacationing together. Sleeps up to 10 people. 2 night minimum for early June dates. 7 night minimum (Sat - Sat) Last week of June through August.
The main floor includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, family room with flat screen TV and dvd player, 2 bedrooms and full bath with. Sliders open out to a large deck with gas grill, patio furniture and spacious flat backyard. The second floor offers two oversized bedrooms and additional full bath. Washer and dryer are located on the lower level. Home includes air conditioning units in each bedroom, cable and Wi-Fi.
Bonnet Shores is ideally situated on the North end of Narragansett. Walk, jog, or bike the 5K loop through Bonnet past breathtaking views of the Ocean and Narragansett Bay.
The soft sand at Kelly Beach is groomed regularly, keeping it pristine for it's visitors. A short board walk leads to one of the finest private beaches in New England with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and coastline. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer. There is no public parking at Kelly Beach, although drop off is allowed, a bike rack is available and shuttle service is available on weekends beginning July 1st. This keeps the beach less crowded as it is only available to Bonnet Shores Residents and Guests.
'Little Beach' is where the boat moorings, a small pier, and a sandy/rocky beach are located. 'Q' Pond has a small dock for fishing or catching blue crabs. Mermaid Rock is located at the North edge of Kelly beach and accessible via a path. Brave swimmers can be seen on the rocks jumping off into the surf. Experience the ambiance as you view the sparkling lights of the Jamestown and Newport Bridges across the water in the evenings or look for the beacon of light from the lighthouse. All necessities are located a short drive down 1-A or 1 including supermarket, pharmacy, coffee and breakfast, restaurants, movie theater, DVD rentals, driving range, bike rentals, and seafood market.
A short drive South leads to the Narragansett public beaches, the landmark Towers and sea wall, a vibrant downtown, and the active fishing port of Point Judith where you can purchase fresh seafood right from the docks or catch the ferry to Block Island. North along 1A leads to the port of Wickford and the bridges to Jamestown and Newport.+ More
