We have added new flooring to the two bathrooms, and look forward to seeing you during the upcoming fall, which promises to be great here in Vermont. Due to light demand so far for September, we have lowered the rate roughly 10% for the month. We are a bit more active in terms of bookings for October.
We have a lovely, low-key guest house for rent on our property in Sharon, VT. The house has 3BRs/2BAs, a full kitchen, an eating area adjacent to the kitchen, a largish LR (with a sleeper sofa), and a pleasant outdoor patio with a beautiful view west to the green mountains of Vermont. There is a roughly 1 acre side yard in which kids and dogs can play without leaving the property. The kitchen is well stocked with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, both a Nespresso and a Keurig coffee machine, all cooking needs, etc. The house has an excellent stereo with two (count 'em) pairs of excellent speakers (one set is B&W), and wifi. We have propane heat and a pellet stove, and the house is well insulated. We are happy to welcome considerate guests who are not expecting the Four Seasons but a low key, very pleasant house in a great Vermont location.
The house is about 20 minutes to Hanover, NH (home to Dartmouth), 20 minutes to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, 15 minutes to "downtown" Norwich, 35 minutes to Queechee and Woodstock, VT, 45 minutes to Montpelier, within an hour to outstanding ski locations in VT (Killington, Stowe, Pico etc.), 1.2 hours to Burlington, 1.5 hours to Manchester NH, 2 hours to Boston, 3 hours to Montreal. Also, an excellent home base to view outstanding Vermont fall foliage.
We are happy to respond to inquiries and do our best to respond within 24 hours.
There are 3 BRs and a sleeper in the LR. BR1 has a king bed with 2 night tables, BR2 has two single beds (only 1 is shown in photos), BR 3 has a single bed and a bunk bed (only the single bed is shown in the photo).
We generally consider maximum capacity to be 8 people. IF YOU PROPOSE A LARGER GROUP, WE MUST DISCUSS IT IN ADVANCE.
- Please pardon the amateur quality of the photos. They are marked to show location/point of view. Note that 3 shots have been added to show some views of the adjacent conservancy property, as well as a sunset view from the side yard.
