This townhome in Seaside Village, located on the mainland near The Village Center of the southernmost barrier island along the NC coastline, is designed for a small group or family who wants to enjoy one of the most beautiful and expansive beaches along the Atlantic seaboard. Right outside the door, we offer easy walking access to shops, boutiques, grocery store, and several restaurants.
On the first floor of the townhome, the inviting great room, dining area and kitchen area allow for guests to relax after a fun day at the beach or golf course. A half bath is also located on the first floor. Two comfortable bedrooms can be found on the second floor. The master bedroom with a full/double bed has a private master bath with tub/shower combo, and the guest room with two twin beds has a private bath with a shower. Located on the main entry level is a private courtyard which connects to the garage.
A short five minute drive over the high rise bridge and the tidal marsh and you arrive on the barrier island of Sunset Beach. Here you will appreciate the wide sloping beach with beautiful white sugar sand to enjoy the surf, sun bathing, flying a kite, swimming, shelling, fishing, surfing, or just taking a walk on the fishing pier. There is FREE public and paid private parking, a handicap ramp with a gazebo beside the pier, air conditioned bathrooms, and outdoor showers for rinsing off. You can rent a bicycle or walk down to the NC Coastal Reserve of Bird Island to look for shells.
Sunset Beach allows for easy access for some of the greatest golfing along the Atlantic Coast. The moderate climate makes Sunset Beach a golf destination throughout the year. There are several well-known golf courses within an easy 5-15 minute drive from the townhome. They include Oyster Bay, The Thistle, Sandpiper Bay, The Pearl, Sea Trail, Brunswick Plantation, Lion’s Paw, Tiger’s Eye, Panther's Run, Leopard's Chase, Rivers Edge, Carolina National and Crow Creek to name a few.
Enjoy outlet shopping, entertainment, and restaurants of North Myrtle Beach (15 miles south of Sunset Beach) including Barefoot Landing. In Myrtle Beach (30 miles south of Sunset Beach) enjoy Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, and Broadway at the Beach. Southport and Wilmington are less than an hour’s drive. Calabash “The Seafood Capital of the World” is less than 5 miles.
There are FREE outdoor concerts in the park beside the townhome on Wednesday evenings and in Ocean Isle on Friday evenings from May through September. The Ingram Planetarium is right next door.+ More
