3 Loons Adirondack Chairs
3 Loons Adirondack Chairs began in May of 2014 when the CEO, Kevin D. O'Brien, retired from the United States Air Force. After looking for a hobby to spend his spare time, Kevin created a design for an Adirondack chair that reminded him of the ones he used to see at his parent's lake house when he was growing up in the Adirondack Mountains.
Kevin built his first chair soon after and then began creating them for family and friends. Soon, Kevin came to a realization and found a niche for himself and his design. Dating back to 1903 in Westport, NY the Adirondack chair has become a staple across the country. The name, 3 Loons, is derived from Kevin's three sons and using the name of the lake where his parents lived, Loon Lake.
3 Loons Adirondack Chairs uses pressure treated pine in all of their chairs and stands by their durability. Today, 3 Loons has participated in dozens of craft fairs and festivals and will soon be displayed at the New Hampshire State Fair. From the military designed chairs to the newly created love seat, 3 Loons Adirondack Chairs is a step above the rest and as far as the plastic chairs you'll find at those big box stores, there is no comparison. Using a cup holder design, you can even have your wine glass at hand without fear of knocking it off the arm of the chair. Remember, plastic is fine, but wood is divine.
