Geothermal Heating and Cooling doesn't have to be complicated. With an EarthLinked system, it is as simple as moving heat from one place to another. In winter, stored solar heat energy from the Earth is moved into your home and provides a constant and comfortable temperature through forced-air ductwork or a radiant floor system. In the summer, or in southern climates, the process is reversed. The heat from the home is moved to back into the ground or into your hot water tank - free hot water!
There are several methods of geothermal heating and cooling systems on the market today. An EarthLinked geothermal system is very similar to a conventional air conditioner or heat-pump circuit where an uninterrupted flow of refrigerant is circulated from inside your home to the outside. Unlike traditional air conditioners or heat-pumps, we do not have a visible outdoor fan coil. Our outdoor exchanger is buried in your yard- out of the elements and in direct contact with the consistent temperature of the ground instead of the wildly variable outdoor seasonal air temperatures. This direct contact allows our heat exchanger to be very small and the whole system to be extremely efficient and more reliable.
