The Cottonwood is a secluded/private oasis in north-central Palm Springs. It is important to note that The Cottonwood is not a 'party' house, but rather a peaceful, quiet place for groups to vacation together. We do not have any outdoor music and cannot allow any amplification of music outdoors by city ordinance and out of respect for our neighbors as well as our guests.
Walking distance to the famous Riviera Hotel. Just 1.5 miles from downtown Palm Springs. 4 Bikes are included for leisurely rides through town, or just a few blocks south the famed Movie Colony neighborhood, home to Hollywood stars of the 40's, 50's and even today! Mid-Century Style and fully remodeled, with a sparkling pool and mountain views from the pool deck.
Priced extremely competitively. Four units comprised of:
2 Deluxe (1) bedroom (1) bath, with living room, Dining room, kitchen and bathroom. One of the deluxe 1 bedrooms has a private patio.
2 Studios with bedroom, bath and kitchen.
The beds are 2 King size beds and 2 Queen size beds with an additional 4 twin size inflatable beds for use in the living areas.
All units look directly onto the pool. All units are fully furnished. All units have Internet connected flat screen smart televisions, satellite, wi-fi Internet, and iPod docks. The 2 Deluxe units have Bang and Olufsen stereo units with Device connectivity. By booking the complex you get your own private hideaway giving you a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms and 4 kitchens. All units have Culligan filtered water at the tap. Ample parking for 8 cars is provided right in front of the building.
The entire property is landscaped and has an 8' privacy fence. Beautiful mountain views abound.
Posted price is for the entire property (all 4 units) 11.5% city tax required by the city of Palm Springs, and cleaning fee are additional. No additional fees for pool heating, utilities, parking etc. as you'll find at hotels and other properties.

The property can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. There are real beds for 8 people and 4 inflatable twin mattresses with linens are provided for the additional 2 guests.
Interaction with Guests:
We try to keep a hands off approach with our guests. I live close by and can be at the property within a few moments, but I figure that you come to Palm Springs to relax, not have to deal with a chatty host! If a guest needs me, I am there, otherwise I stay out of the way.
The neighborhood is a mix of apartments and homes, walking distance to Palm Canyon Drive and about 1.5 miles to the center of downtown.
Bike, walk and public transport is close by. A car is recommended for those that wish to get out of town to hike, etc. Some may feel the need to have a car even for in town.+ More
