Our historic townhouse boasts a chic & modern 1-bedroom lower level apartment. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
There is a sunken (1 step down) living room, bedroom, etc. - so not recommended for guests with small tots as I don't have baby gates. Large Bathroom: Double sink with 6 foot shower. Kitchen: dishwasher, toaster, coffee/latte maker, microwave. Remote controlled wall A/C & heating units. 55" TV with cable and Samsung Bluetooth speaker. Separate office nook with desk & office chair. Dining table for 2 persons. Bedroom has 1 Queen size bed. The living room sofa has 2 chaise loungers for sleeping. There is also a plush Queen size airbed.
Guest have access to the entire apartment and the shared backyard/garden.
The apartment is located in the historic and buzzing neighborhood of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Ft. Greene has amble restaurant and nightlife options.
BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) for performing arts and cinema is steps away and the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets basketball and various concerts, is just around the corner.
An array of dining options within walking distance includes: Cuban, Japanese, South African, Ethiopian, German, Caribbean and Mexican, just to name a few. Plenty of shopping, from groceries to clothing to household items, is within a 5 minute walk to the nearby Atlantic Center Mall or Fulton Street Mall.
Charming Ft. Greene also boasts Ft. Greene Park (2 blocks away), easy access to museums and galleries and a Saturday farmers market and flea market.
The apartment is just down the street from Atlantic Terminal – 3 minute walk to 11 train lines (2, 3, 4, 5, B, C, D, G, N, Q, R subway lines) and the LIRR (take the train to JFK Airport!). Get to lower Manhattan in 10 minutes – by train or taxi. Taxis (yellow, green, Uber or Lyft) are always available in under 5 minutes.
