Howelsen Place is the prominent luxury property located in Old Town Steamboat Springs. Nearby are many of Steamboat’s best restaurants and shops, as well as the Yampa River - and it is all walking distance from this location! If you’re looking to ski – that’s easy too with the included use of a private ski locker on the mountain and a free, conveniently located, city shuttle that will get you there.
This unit is likely the most modern-feeling ski town condo you will find, with its clean lines and white/gray color palate. We love that it stands out. It’s a spacious and elegant unit that we hope you will feel is inviting for your peaceful or adventurous getaway. Whether you’re more inclined to cook up your own groceries inside the condo, or visit one of the awesome restaurants just steps away (like Winona’s or Salt and Lime), we hope you’ll feel like you’ve found your Steamboat home-away-from-home.
The main living area has a large flat screen TV, a gas-burning fireplace, engineered wood floors with area rugs, and modern comfortable furniture. The dining table sits up to six people, and the kitchen is well equipped, with stainless appliances and a bar that seats four. The master bedroom of this condominium is quite spacious and offers a queen bed, and a spacious master bath with a bathtub, shower, and duel sinks. The second bedroom features a full bed and a twin trundle. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combination and single sink. The living-room sofa also folds out into a full size bed, futon-style. There is plenty of closet space and a mudroom-style entry with a bench and storage areas for winter gear. There is even a desk in a more secluded area in case you have work to do or just need a place to put your laptop. The large deck features fabulous views of the ski area and is accessible from both the living room and master suite.
