Camp Mon O'Kel Cottages are located on the north shore of Newboro Lake in the heart of the beautiful and historic Rideau waterway. It is situated on 140 acres of natural woodlands with over 3000 feet of shoreline. There are six one bedroom and one two bedroom attached housekeeping cottages overlooking the lake.
There are over 90 islands in Newboro Lake which makes it ideal for fishing and exploring.

In addition to fishing, vacationing guests enjoy the quiet beauty and wildlife of the lake, boating on the historic and scenic Rideau Canal â?? a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and hiking on nearby trails.
Newboro Lake is popular with fishermen. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike are the favorite catches.
