Interaction with guests:
As hosts, we will typically be available on site for anything guests might need. We also have a retired couple as summer guests at our RV site who help maintain the grounds and such. If we are not here, they will be happy to help guests in any way possible.
In this area, there are day drives that take you back in time with scenery that will take your breath away.
To the south a couple of hours is the amazing Grand Coulee Dam which provides and awesome tour as well as a spectacular laser light show every night during the summer months.
To the north, our Canadian neighbors offer a variety of outdoor activities along with some of the best winery's you'll find anywhere.
To the west is the historic Old West town of Winthrop that leads to the spectacular North Cascades Highway.
To the east is one of our favorite motorcycle day rides that takes you through the town of Republic and beyond over Sherman Pass to the Columbia River and the Kettle Falls area. Both Republic and Kettle Falls have great local brew pubs with good food.
There is simply way too much to see and do to mention here . Please let us know your interests and we'll do our best to provide local information.
For our motorcycle and bicycle guests, access to The Lazy C is via a very well maintained county gravel road 1 mile off of Highway 20. We ride our Harley's on it all the time. It can get a bit dusty during the summer but feel free to clean your bike right here at the Lazy C.
Other things to note:
As a reminder, The Lazy C does not have cell service but guests have a land line in the room. The closest cell service can be obtained 20 miles away in either the town of Tonasket or Republic.+ More
