Welcome to our home away from home, 5 minutes north of MInden off Highway 35, 20 minutes from Haliburton. Relax and enjoy some R & R at our beautiful lake front property with incredible sunsets and early morning mists. This cottage has a very warm welcoming feel with 3 bedrooms and with a bright 3 piece and 2 piece bathrooms. Open concept living room with wood burning fireplace and dining room which can seat 6-8 people comfortably. Beautiful lake view from living room. A large workable kitchen also with beautiful lake views while cooking.
Master bedroom has queen size bed. 2nd bedroom has queen size bed and third bedroom has bunk bed and queen size bed. Sleeps 7 people comfortably. Pillows, duvets/blankets and kitchen linens included. Please bring your own bed linens, bath and beach towels (bed linens and towels can be made available for extra charge). Wireless internet included with good cell phone reception and land line in cottage.
No pets allowed, but do make some exceptions.
Haliburton forest a large private nature reserve that is open to the public for hiking, camping, nature walks, fishing and the famous tree top walk in the summer.
Wolf Center also located in the Haliburton forest where you can take your children.

You can bring your own kayak and take lessons if you are a beginner
Wonderful Studio Tour in the fall with amazing artists opening their homes for their work. Studios are open all year long with appointments.
Highland Theater in Kinmount (20 minute) drive from cottage. A museum with four theaters where you can watch all up to date movies. Go early to go through the museum.

Large 150 foot lake frontage at the front of the cottage where you can watch the sunrise from the dock with your coffee or enjoy a glass of wine with the sunset sitting on muskoka chairs at lakefront.
Swimming is excellent with shallow water close to shore but drops off deep immediately from end of dock. Sandy shoreline but I do recommend wearing water shoes.
