This 26', 1966 Airstream Overlander has been fully remodeled with all the amenities and a touch of modern charm. It is parked in the side yard of our house, just 5min from downtown. If you'd prefer, we can tow the trailer to a location of your choice (for $150 roundtrip within 45 minutes of Bend).
The trailer comfortably sleeps 4, with a full size bed in the back and a dinette area that transforms into another full size bed. As compact as the space is, the large windows and white paint make the interior feel quite spacious
The Airstream is a travel trailer, and was built to be on the road adventuring, so be sure to keep this in mind as you're using the space. The stove and hot water heater are run off of propane tanks that sit on the tongue of the trailer.
The toilet is a composting toilet, so it doesn't connect to the sewer lines. It requires a moment of patience after you do your duty to turn a handle that mixes your excrements with soil, but don't worry, you won't have to do any of the dirty work!
As long as you're staying in the Airstream and it is parked at our home, you'll be plugged in and hooked up to water and electricity. So you can use your outlets and power-sourced electronics per usual.
There is no additional fee for extra guests, beyond 2, but please let us know if you'll be using the second bed. The second bed is located in the front of the trailer, the dinette table telescopes down into the floor and the dinette benches become a bed. We don't store the extra cushions in the airstream regularly, so if you plan on using the second bed, we'll be sure to put the cushions in the space for you.
We do have a dog who travels with us in our trailer. If you are allergic to dogs, we don't suggest this space for you, depending on how severe your allergies are.+ More
