No Worries is 1350 square feet with a 900 square foot private deck, BBQ, 2bd/1bath with rain head shower, full kitchen, queen bed in master with 42" flat screen TV, high speed wifi internet, fireplace, internal washer/dryer, office workstation, bunk bed for youth guests and an extraordinary bay view. The place has a completely separate entrance.
No Worries is a dynamic mid-Century modern home, that (allegedly) was built 60 years ago by an architect who later helped design the original BART system. There is evidence of some crazy genius at work when you examine some of the angles and lines of this home, and of course, the swinging sixties decorative stylings, some of which we kept and incorporated into our renovation design. We think of our home as Mid-Modern: it is clean, super quiet, very light and bright with large windows and expansive views.
When we purchased the place, we found other hidden history including photos of Point Richmond during World War II when it served as a ship building port, and became the official home of icon Rosie the Riveter. Please ask if you would like to see the pics— We keep both albums upstairs where your hosts and their cat Wyatt Earp live.+ More
