Listed for the first time this summer!
Located in a charming historic building this apartment is filled with character and unique features. The two bedrooms and bath are located on the second floor. There is a large deck located off of the master bedroom. Downstairs you will find a living room, large kitchen and sun/dining room. Our guests will enjoy the private shady garden, fish pond, and small fenced yard. The outside spaces will call to you for relaxing, dining, reading, visiting, etc, etc....
Restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, gift boutiques, ice cream shops, laundromat. kayak rentals, and entertainment are all located within a few steps of the apartment. A little longer walk (or ride on the town's tram) will get you to the harbor, the beach(located on the Chesapeake Bay), museums, additional restaurants and shops. There is off street parking provided. Beach chairs and bikes are also available. While staying at our property you can also enjoy the "Little Free Library" located in the front garden next to the Main Street sidewalk. Always a fun surprise to see what books have come and gone during your stay. Feel free to take a book that strikes your fancy (and bring one to donate if you want - but not necessary) We will consider renting to guests who travel with well mannered dogs. There is a pet fee ($50 per pet/per visit) and refundable pet deposit. Please contact us to discuss this option. Our family views this apartment and it's location as a true treasure. We have enjoyed its amenities for a number of years and look forward to being able to share its charm with others. Please be respectful of the neighbors (though there are not many of them) and the facilities. This prime location will allow you to park you car for your entire stay if you would like. All of Rock Hall is within walking or biking (we provide two beach cruisers) distance of the garden gate. The town also offers a tram service ($1 per person per ride) from mid May until late fall. Some of our favorite times in Rock Hall are, New Years Eve (hat parade, fish drop, bay plunge), Triathlon weekends in spring and fall, 4th of July (fireworks, 5 mile run, great parade and festival), Watermans Day ( usually the first Sunday after the 4th of July), Pirates and Wenches weekend (fun for pirates of all ages - second weekend in August), FallFest (October Saturday with great music, good food and unique crafts).
