Some fun info:
- Portland has more restaurants and breweries per capita than any city in the country. A proud local claim :)
Here is Trip Advisors list: There are a few good places here in Cape Elizabeth as well:
Bird Dog Roadhouse and the Lobster Shack are 2 favorites of mine. Lobster Shack is a must see. Close to the Lobster Shack is Two Lights State Park which is beautiful.
Elsmere Grill and Scratch Bakery in South Portland close by are popular.
I can also make some suggestions based on the type of cuisine.
- A few area attractions:
Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the world. Its a great park. Might be the best Lobster roll in Maine, but expensive :)
Two Lights State Park, Some great beaches are Higgins, Crescent, Kettle Cove, and Williard Beach.
