This lovingly restored cottage is perfect for a small family who love the water and boating. This boat-access-only cottage is on mainland, but in a wilderness area, perfect for those who enjoy privacy and the outdoors. The cottage is on a point with two accesses to the water. The is a full L-shaped deck at the side and front of the cottage with a full view to the water. The BBQ is outside the kitchen for cooking ease.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel stove and refrigerator with modern, deluxe cupboards and counter tops. The large dining table will seat 8 people & offers a view of the waterfront. The ceilings throughout the cottage are cedar, with pine floors and walls.
In the living room, comfortable furniture will seat 6 people. There is a TV, DVD player and CD player but no satellite or internet service. The hand-made fireplace is the focal point of this room. On the deck outside the living room, there is a unique table made from barn boards with logs for outdoor seating to enjoy the evening meal. There are 3 bedrooms with sleeping for 5 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed & opens onto the deck, the 2nd bedroom a double bed, and the 3rd has a single. The bathroom is between the 2nd and 3rd bedroom and is a 3-piece with shower. The 275’ waterfront is very private, situated in its own small bay. There is scattered seating to relax or sunbathe, or just curl up with a good book. The property gets a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. At the dock, there is a 4-person paddle boat, canoe and paddle-board for your use. The dock is 26 X 9’, with water depth of approximately 9’ at the end, and can accommodate a boat up to 20’. Depending on the water levels, there may be a small sandy beach for the kids. Near the waterfront is a hammock for lazy days & a large swing for the more energetic.
There are two marinas that can be used to launch your boat, both also operate water taxi services.
