There is a large, wraparound deck, with a wheelchair access ramp to the left side and a BBQ at the back. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on this spacious deck at the picnic or patio tables. From the deck, watch the water and sunset as the day comes to a close. Sun can be enjoyed on the dock and west side of the deck from around 11:00 am to sundown.Inside, a spacious and open concept living space awaits. The living and dining rooms are conveniently connected to the deck. With newly renovated hardwood maple floors throughout the main floor, as well as beautiful pine siding, it is an interior worth admiring. There are comfy couches for watching movies and satellite TV, or playing with puzzles or board games. The dining table seats eight.
This open concept, spacious kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, cutlery, stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher and double sink. Water from the lake is triple filtered so it is very safe to drink. There is also a washer/dryer.
All of the bedrooms have spacious closets and new mattresses for comfort. There is a large bedroom with a queen size bed on the main floor, with sliding door access to the deck, and a three-piece bathroom close by. There are three bedrooms on the upper level. One has a queen bed. The second room has a queen and a single, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top. They all share a three-piece, newly renovated bathroom.
All the bedrooms have spacious closets and new mattresses for your comfort.
A large open area has grassy sections for games, and a sandy area with a beach volleyball court for the athletic vacationer. A short boardwalk connects the grassy area with the sandy beach. The beach and dock are secluded, away from big waves and wind. There is very little boat traffic nearby. Both the sandy beach and dock are ideal for children.
There is so much to explore on Lake Nipissing. A paddle boat, kayak, canoe and life jackets are provided for a tour around the island. Afterwards, relax in the spacious sauna located near the water's edge. A boat ride into North Bay offers restaurants and shops. The area in general has everything to offer, including local farmers markets in the small towns of Powassan and Burk's Falls.
