One of Ontario Cottage Rentals’ most private Muskoka retreats, Osprey Point Cottage is a great getaway for adults looking to take a break in the heart of cottage country. Situated on lovely Pine Lake near Gravenhurst, this quaint two-bedroom cottage is just a two-hour drive from the city of Toronto.
Newly renovated and suitable for up to four guests, Osprey Point Cottage’s two bedrooms, although relatively small, are cozy and intimate. Both feature double beds, with the master possessing one of the nicest views of Pine Lake to be had. An additional bonus for those staying in the master bedroom is its many French doors, which open directly onto the deck. Both bedrooms share the nicely decorated bathroom with is new shower, sink and toilet.
Osprey Point Cottage’s renovations include a complete kitchen makeover, too. Highlights include a brand new open concept kitchen with ceramic countertops and flooring throughout, along with table seating for up to four.
French doors are also found elsewhere around the cottage, with a total of seven of them at the front, allowing plenty of light inside and magnificent views outside over the lake. All of them lead to the small deck, a great place to relax and unwind or entertain as guests enjoy the breathtaking lake view.
From the wraparound deck a set of limestone steps lead down to the waterfront and its large floating dock. It's the perfect place to go for a swim as the water’s shallow with a nice sandy bottom. An additional deck has been built at the waterfront, too, and actually extends over the water at the point. This wonderful spot is not surprisingly one of the cottage’s most popular features, thanks partly to the ladder that extends down into the water, but also for its peaceful setting – the nearest neighbor is located the other side of the lake, allowing plenty of privacy and peace.
This cottage has two double beds. Vacationers to bring their own linens and towels.
Limestone steps take you down to the waterfront where there is a floating dock. The water is very shallow, good for swimming, with a sand bottom.
