This century cottage with shoreline bunkie offers a vacation spot with character plus and is filled with antique treasures to delight. The cabin sits at the lake edge and is truly a gem with old-style appeal. The property is level and grassy providing ideal space for family games of croquet and bocce ball with the kids.
The cottage is two storey and 1,000 sq. ft. The living room, with satellite TV, seats 4 and the dining table accommodates 4 to 6 with a side-table providing extra space for serving or seating. The kitchen has a stainless steel fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker and grinder, as well as everything needed for preparation of cottage meals. A table and couple of chairs by the window make a cozy corner to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.
Stairs from the living room lead up to 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Enjoy a pretty view of the lake from the balcony off the master bedroom. A 4-piece bathroom is upstairs as well.
Walk out from the kitchen to the patio or stroll down to the waterfront. The bunkie is nestled by the water’s edge and provides a wonderful, cottagey spot to relax, read a book or watch the kids play. The screened living area invites the lake breezes in. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen and 1 with a double bed. A working 1930s fridge keeps beverages cold and snacks can be made using the hot plate, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. While there is no running water in the cabin, an outhouse is located nearby.
With western exposure, sun can be enjoyed at the water all day. It is a child-friendly waterfront with 66 ft. frontage and a small sand beach. The lake bottom is medium to soft sand. The dock has a ladder and water depth is about 4 ft. at the end…a great spot for the kids to throw in a fishing line. There are plenty of water toys - 2 canoes, 2 kayaks and an aluminum rowboat. Come evening, chairs can be gathered around the waterfront fire-pit for the inevitable roasting of marshmallows.+ More
