This 4-bedroom cottage is perfect for three or four couples with children. The bedrooms are upstairs, 1 has a queen and a crib, 1 with a queen and a double, 1 with a queen and a single and 1 with a double. The bathroom on this floor is a 4-piece with a shower and a Jacuzzi tub. There is a baby gate at the top of the stairs for peace of mind if there are small children.
Downstairs the large kitchen has all modern appliances for ease in food prep and cooking. Beside the kitchen there is a small table seating 2 and there are extra chairs for up to 4 people. Off the kitchen there is a small utility room with a washer & dryer. On the other side of the kitchen, facing the river is a sunroom with a table for 6 to 8 people. Off this room is a 3-piece bathroom with shower. The sunroom leads out to the deck where there is a BBQ, table with umbrella & six chairs for lounging and dining. The view of the river is spectacular.
The living room has Satellite TV (HBO/Sports channels available) and seating for 5. This room opens into another room, which also has a couch and chairs, and all the toys to keep the children happy for the whole stay! This room then leads back into the kitchen. Throughout the whole house (except for the kitchen and sunroom) the beautifully restored floors and the banister on the stairs reflect the beautiful workmanship of days gone by.
There is 200 feet of frontage at the cottage, but there is no beach. When you step off the bank the water gets deep very quickly. For smaller children there are parks nearby where the swimming would be more suited for them. For avid fishermen, the river is well known for perch, muskie, pike, walleye and salmon.
