For your health and enjoyment, the Mountain Cottage is non-smoking. You may smoke outside the accommodation unless prohibited by law. You are responsible for disposing of your cigarette butts; please do not litter. There is an ashtray available on the back porch or they can go into the outdoor fire pit area, no cigarette butts are to be thrown throughout the property. Pets We welcome well-trained and behaved dogs to stay with their owners in designated areas. They are welcome on the land, but you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet and we take no responsibility for any encounters with wildlife and/or rural farm animals and other pets. Your dog may come inside at night if preferred but must stay on the ground floor on tiles or wood floors. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS on furniture, rugs, upstairs, on kitchen lino, carpeted stairs or in bedrooms. There may be an additional charge and we will need to approve your pet before we can confirm your reservation. Pets must be well behaved and are not to be left alone in the home for extended periods of time. If evidence is found that a pet has been present without prior consent of management or a permitted pet has damaged the furnishings or the rental property during the stay, minimum charge may be applied on your pet deposit for all cleaning costs or repair and/or deodorizing. We ask an additional $150 pet deposit. Vacationing with Respect We hope you enjoy the Mountain Cottage we manage, and we ask that you treat the accommodation with dignity at all times. Please respect our local culture, wildlife and rural residents. Be mindful not to leave garbage or recycling outside (Be Wildlife Aware!) & pick up after your pet.
