Property Description

The Riverside is an ideal waterfront condo located in downtown Sicamous, that offers a safe, barrier free and fun environment for all ages in all seasons. Our home away from home is a 5-minute walk to multiple amenities including the public beach, shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the hub of activity to retreat to peace and quiet. In the summer months, the rental comes with a designated boat slip in a newly installed private dock on "The Narrows" providing access to both Mara Lake and Shuswap Lakes for hours of boating and fishing pleasure. There are plenty of rental shops close by that can supply everything from a paddle boards, canoes to high end surf boats to meet any budget. Alternatively, you can just relax by the pool or hot tub and watch the boats go by. Any season is a good time to rejuvenate at the local spa, cuddle up with a good book or initiate a romantic evening by the fireplace.Various points of interest surrounding the scenic mountain terrain offer diverse adventures in: Wine tours+ World class golf+ Nature walks and hiking+ Whitewater rafting and zip lines+ Off road, All terrain vehicle expeditions+ Lake and stream fishing+ Down hill and cross country skiing+ Snow shoeing and sledding.

Our piece of paridise is nestled in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia where opportunities to explore are endless. We are halfway between Vancouver and Calgary which makes this location a perfect place to connect with family and friends. The complex is situated on the crystal clear lakes of the Shuswap that span an impressive 89km/55miles. Sicamous is part of over 17 villages and towns that flank the Shuswap waterways. In addition there are numerous larger urban centres such as Revelatoke, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops within an hours drive, all with their own unique points of interest and urban centre charm. Salmon Arm is only 20 minutes and provides access to almost all that a Big City would offer.Sicamous is a town of less than 3000 people where the average person can walk the entire circumference within an hour or two. Most guests visit the famous Dutchman Dairy and buy locally grown fruit and vegetable cross the street.

My husband and I are a working middle class, middle age couple who love to share our accommodations with others when we can't be here to enjoy the place. All of the amenities and consumables "just like home" are here for you, right down to the coffee and ketchup. We just ask that if you use the last of it you replace it.

Bedroom Description

2 bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed. The Bedroom has a Double Lower Bunk and a Single Upper Bunk.

There is a public beach within a 5-10 minute walk to the north. Plus 3 boat launches within a 2-5 minute drive. 2 to the south 1 to the North.

Snow Skiing and Boarding

Ski/Board Out is a 45 minute transit/shuttle ride to runs from the property.

Approximate travel times are: Revelstoke and Silver Star Ski Resort -45 minutes. Sun Peaks and Big White Ski Resort -90 minutes

Security or Damage Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit of 600 CAD is due immediately.

When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 14 days of departure.

Damage deposit includes respect of our NO SMOKING and NO PETS policy. If this policy is not followed, the renter will forgo the entire deposit.

Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies.

NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.

Boat slip is included, but an additional parking fee of $75 is necessary for boat trailer storage: The use of the boat slip requires copy of insurance, make, model and length of boat is required by Strata bi-laws and must be submitted by the condo owner atleast 1 week prior to arrival.
