This house is nested on the South shore of the pristine Clearwater River right close to the take out for our famous Lava Canyon river rafting trip in Wells Gray Provincial Park. We offer a private waterfront vacation rental that will let you relax to the fullest and go explore the park. The covered South facing deck overlooking the river will give you a real retreat feeling, as well as the cedar built home with 3 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and beautiful dining area. The North facing covered deck allows you to take shelter on those super warm afternoons. This house sleeps up to 6 or 7 people comfortably (Queen sized beds in each of the 3 bedrooms, plus a high quality single bed). The river trail to the lower property by the Clearwater River offers a fire pit and nice lounging areas with a sandy beach at lower water levels
On the same riverfront property, we also offer a quaint self contained cabana that sleeps one or two guests comfortably (queen sized bed) with its own washroom and kitchenette with a South facing deck and full access to the trail leading down to the Clearwater River and fire pit by the water. 3 bedrooms. The Master Bedroom, Upper Level has a Queen Bed and a Queen Sofa-bed/Hide-a-bed. The Smaller Lower Bedroom has a Queen Bed. The Larger Lower Bedroom has a Queen Bed.
Waterfront and/or Beach

Clearwater River is less than a 1 minute walk from the property without crossing a road. The fine sand beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor.
The Clearwater RIver is the most pristine waterway in the valley draining Wells Gray Provincial Park just one kilometer upstream where numerous adventures are awaiting. The tranquility and privacy of the location on the riverfront will allow you to rest and relax. It also provides a natural highway for wildlife travels.
