Welcome to beautiful Whitestone Lake, this cottage is available all four seasons! Enjoy boating to ice cream, nearby breakfasts, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding & so much more! You’ll love the cottage- so quiet & serene with gorgeous sunlight, trees, the lake, the dock, the beachfront, the fireplace, and especially the fresh air. It's great for couples getaways, solo adventurers, families (with kids), & furry friends.

This is a great cottage to unwind in. In the summer, there is a dock as well as a beach, a paddle boat, and a canoe for your use. The BBQ is excellent for cooking up some dinner or snacks, and the patio can seat everyone for a nice outdoor meal. In the fall you can enjoy some great hikes and walks in the area as the leaves change colour. Cozy sweaters and blankets fireside in the living room is fantastic, and a nice hot coffee in the morning by the dock makes for perfect start to the day! The cottage has been completely renovated in 2011, it is strong and secure for all types of weather. In the winter you can enjoy the snow all around you, do some snow-shoeing or cross country skiing. An excellent spot for snowmobiling and ice fishing as well!

Guests have access to the entire cottage, which includes the 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The great room and kitchen, and deck are all for your use. The dock and beachfront is available for you, and there is plenty of grass space for cars or a trailer/tent too.

Location Description

Whitestone Lake is a fantastic lake to enjoy. It is large enough to accomodate water skiiers and tubers, and yet quiet enough for kayakers and paddleboarders. The neighbourhood is quiet, other people cottaging and a few locals. Nearby you can get to Dunchurch for some great little breakfast and dinner spots, as well as ice cream and local variety stores. McKellar has ice cream as well, and a cafe, and a farm shop with fresh meats. Parry Sound is your best bet for close by major amenities such as WalMart, Sobeys, Home Depot, Pet Value, and Starbucks, which is about 20 minutes away.

No smoking No parties or events Check-in is after 4PM - No smoking inside (outside is ok) - No guests allowed on the property that are not included in the initial reservation unless approved by us - No loud noise after 11pm due to bylaws - Fires in the fire pit or fire place only - Do not flush anything other than toilet paper (septic system) -All garbage must be taken to the nearby dump on departure -Please do not leave any food of any kind behind (bugs!) -Make sure not to leave the dryer running when away from the cottage -Please keep the door closed to the indoor fireplace as much as possible, when open it produces a lot of smoke -Please make every effort to clean off your dog(s) (if applicable) before entering the cottage -No dogs on the beds especially if dirty or shedding please Please be sure to keep all garbage inside or in the plastic storage or sheds, there are critters that show up and food will really encourage them. The water system is well water, which is tested but we recommend drinking bottled water. The house works on a septic system so please be courteous of the water usage.
