Located near the St Laurent Shopping Centre, Gloucester Centre and the Scotiabank Theatre. Close to RCMP HQ, NRC, CSIS and Montfort Hospital. Surrounded by multiple bike paths. Minutes to downtown and the University of Ottawa. Your perfect home away from home!

One bedroom condo with a real bed. There is also a pullout couch in the living room and a twin air mattress in the closet. 690 square feet but it is all open-concept so it feels much bigger.

Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, breakfast bar and new range-microwave and brand new ultra-quiet dishwasher (seriously I forget it's even on!). All amenities including dish-ware, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker, ect. Coffee & tea, oils & spices, and other staples are provided.

Book lover? A large selection of fiction & non-fiction books are also at your disposal. I am an artist who also has an extensive play collection if you feel like brushing up on your Shakespeare.

Fitness lover? There is a yoga mat and some free weights available. If you have your own bike, you can park it in one of the many bike lockers in the parking garage or outside on the bike racks. There are new bike lanes on Cyrville Rd. as well as lanes all along Aviation Parkway, which will take you directly down town.

The unit is located on the first floor, but as the building is on a hill at the back, you actually get a balcony instead of a patio. South-facing with large windows so you get lots of light throughout the day. 9 foot ceilings. Central heating and A/C controlled from the unit. Cement building which makes for excellent sound-proofing. I've never lived in a building this quiet before.

Bedroom Description

Newly renovated bedroom with laminate flooring that looks like hardwood, walk-in closet, queen-size bed and cheater ensuite bathroom. One bedroom condo with a real bed. There is also a pullout couch in the living room and a twin air mattress in the closet.

Full bathroom with soaker tub, towels, linens and soaps. Feel free to use some epsom salts and the bath pillow for a relaxing evening!

This is my home, so please treat it with kindness. No smoking inside the apartment. If you are smoking on the balcony, please put all cigarette butts in the jar provided. Please empty out the jar and put it in the dishwasher at the end of your stay. No pets. No parties. Families with children or infants are welcome, however you must bring your own crib/high chair/other supplies. If you borrow a book, please return it before you leave.

Open concept kitchen looks on the living room/dining room area. New engineered hardwood floors in the living room. 40" Smart TV connected to unlimited WiFi server in the unit. Comes with Netflix & YouTube access. There is also a DVD player - no DVDs but please feel free to bring your own. Pullout couch sleeps 2 average size people comfortably.

The neighborhood :

You've got the St Laurent Shopping Centre on one side, with a Goodlife Fitness Centre and the Rainbow Cinemas within. On the other side, you've got the Gloucester Centre, Loblaws, Walmart, Silver City Cinemas and a selection of restaurants (Moxies, Montana's, East Side Marios, Casey's).

Need to make a Costco run? That's nearby as well.

The unit is minutes from downtown and the University of Ottawa by car and bus.

Getting around :

The unit is close to the 417 and Aviation Parkway. There is free underground parking in the building, as well as ample visitor parking. If you would prefer to use public transit, you are just a 15 minute walk from the St-Laurent Shopping Centre and the Transitway. If you have a bicycle, Aviation Parkway leads to one of the nicest cycling routes to downtown. There are also brand new bike lanes on Cyrville Rd.
