My deceased wife and I built our retirement home on this uniquely beautiful island overlooking Cummings Beach in the Bay of Fundy. We chose the property for its magic southerly view of the ocean towards Eastport,Maine. We fell for Deer Island because it is full of life, love and laughter.and an old time spirit that kept us young at heart. Summer tourism is limited by a 24 car ferry service, so those few who visit for awhile are much appreciated. Fishing lobster, scallops, sardines, urchins, and mackeral nicely supports the residents - it is a working island where you can watch and enjoy the bounty of the Bay. Go whalewatching,or fishing or kiyaking,or just walk and bike the Island. The Deer are many and unafraid so drive careful.
We are loated at 1219 route 772,Cummings Cove,Deer Island.+ More
