BBQ Private BBQ's are supplied at each cottage. Please keep them on the ground and not on the deck; heat warps the siding and damages the wooden deck.
Laundry Facilities There are two, coin-operated washers and two, coin-operated dryers located at the property's north end and are available for guest use after 2:30 pm. They accept quarters and loonies.
Fire Pits A private Fire Pit is located in front of each cottage. When not in use, place the fire poker on top to avoid accidents. Bundles of wood are for sale at the office for $6.00 each and are available before 6pm.
Please remember to close your windows while using your Fire Pit as the wind is always off the ocean and smoke will drift into your cottage.
Towels Reserved guests are expected to provide their own towels. Bed linens & tea towels are supplied. Those who use our towels are expected to leave them. A $50 fee will be assessed for unreturned towels.
Smoking There is no smoking within the cottages; however smoking is allowed on the grounds including on your private deck. Ash trays are supplied for outside use only. Dead butts are not to be dumped in your fire pit; they are to be disposed of in the black garbage bin. There will be $100.00 fine if you choose not to do this. If you decide to smoke in your cottage at any time during your vacation, you will be fined $1000.00.
Quiet Hour Courtesy to all our guests, we ask that quiet hour begins at 11:00pm. We don't mind if you stay up late or if you're by the fire, but we do need it to be kept at a "dull roar."
Seafood Cooking ALL seafood must be cooked outside on the picnic table. Please request a "Seafood Cooker" at the office the day prior, and it will be delivered to your cottage. There is a cleaning fee of $500 if you choose to cook seafood in your cottage. Seafood includes but is not limited to clams, lobster, mussels, quahogs, razor backs.
Please be sure to dump your used cooking water over the bank as it kills the grass and draws flies. We ask that the "Seafood Cooker" be rinsed out before you return it to the office, please.
Pets We are a Pet Friendly property - please see our "Pet Policy." To help with additional cleaning requirements, there is a $10.00/night or $50.00/week fee. Our "Poop and Scoop" policy is strictly enforced. A $5.00 fine will result each time you forget.
Please be sure to pick up your pet blanket at the office when checking in. It is complementary and helps reduce pet hair on the furniture - we all know that they sneak up on the furniture
Cleanliness When guests arrive, the cottages are clean and neat. When leaving, please be sure all dishes are washed/dried and that the garbage is sorted and removed. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cleaning fee assessment from your credit card.
The Beach The tides run about every 12 hours. Roughly 6 hours to go out and 6 hours to come in. Keep in mind that some of the outer rocks along the shore may be slippery. Please be careful when you are going for your walks and know that our beaches are unsupervised.
Children should always be accompanied by an adult and everyone is advised to practice proper water safety. We include Water Safety Tips and Guidelines in the Cottage Information Booklet upon arrival but encourage all guests to do their own research.
Stocked Cottages Now offering a grocery service for your vacation. Fill out the form here and your cottage will be stocked with groceries and beverages of your choice when you arrive. After a long drive to get here, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the ocean air on your deck.
Monday Night - Seafood Night 6:30pm every Monday Night! Meet your fellow cottagers and have some great Island food! Please sign up in the office during Check-In.
