The Space:

This is a bright, welcoming, two level townhouse in a quiet complex in downtown Toronto. Once you're in the complex, you'll hardly know you're in the heart of the city. It truly is a hidden gem, in fact, we hear this all the time. The unit has great light and feels open and airy, it's one of the things that attracted us to this place.

The main floor has a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin over double bunk), laundry and a bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower. The second floor has a den with a small desk/work space that overlooks the living room as well as the very large master bedroom and master bath. The 9x11 master bath boasts double sinks, a deep soaker tub, a vaulted ceiling and skylight.

This place has it all! We hope that you enjoy your stay and love the place as much as we do.

The Neighbourhood:

Our neighbourhood can be best described as 'changing' with mixed incomes. There are million dollar condos near by inexpensive student digs supporting both Ryerson and George Brown College. As the area is developing, more and more condos are being built, pushing some of the local street life out. With such a short walk to all the city has to offer, it's no surprise that this area is rapidly changing and the population is growing. It's a fantastic place to be!

As with any large city, you will encounter homeless people in the downtown core. Generally they are harmless, but be aware. If you are not comfortable with this, you might want to consider a location further from downtown.

Getting Around:

Public transit abounds in this area with a bus right around the corner, and streetcars one block north and one block south. The subway is a 10 minute walk (or short streetcar ride). Walking is also a great option.

There is a discount car rental walking distance away at Jarvis Street.

Other Things to Note:

Underground parking is available for one vehicle.

Be aware that there are lots of stairs to get to the unit and within the unit so if stairs are not your thing, this is not the place for you.
