My historic building was built in the 1950's and has clean character and ambiance. Walking distance to Whole Foods/Publix, fabulous restaurants, diverse shopping options, performance theaters, movie theaters, nightlife, public transport, boat/water activity rentals, parks, spas, and a short distance to the beach or airport. You’ll love my place. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I have lots of regulars who come back time and time again.
The space is located on the S. Pineapple Avenue side of the building facing the large mural by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra and Selby Lane. Lots of windows and skylight in the bathroom. This apartment is unique as it is the only one with exposed steel beams and wood structure beams. The bed is a queen sized bed. The floors are hardwood with area rugs and the Kitchen and Bathroom are all tiled.
When you arrive we will meet you to let you into the building, show you your room and provide keys to you. The exterior doors are always locked so you will need to get a key to access the interior hall. On occasion we will leave your keys with the restaurant or someplace should you arrive late or at a time we are out.
We live on-site in an apartment in the front of the building so let us know if you need anything or a change of towels. We will help as we can. There is a Sarasota Visitor Center in walking distance that has TONS of brochures and ideas of things to do while you visit Sarasota. While we provide some brochures in the room, they have ALL of them - Visitor Center, 1710 Main St, Sarasota, FL 34236.
We are centrally located so getting around is easy and you can walk to almost everything but by car is easy too. There is a bus stop outside just 50 feet away and the Main Bus SCAT stop is next to Whole Foods, just 5 blocks away. Sarasota has UBER and Cabs. There is also a bike rental just 100 feet away and boat rentals about three blocks away. The SRQ Sarasota Bradenton Airport airport is only 5 miles away.+ More
