This one room log cabin is located in a small natural campground (Camp Earth Connection) and is adjacent to the Hammond Hill State Forest with 20 miles of trails for hiking, biking and skiing. It is located a quarter mile down a seasonal road, so it may not be drivable during the winter months. There is a parking lot at the beginning of the seasonal road where guests may park during winter weather, and sleds are provided for transporting your gear. Snowshoes and/or cross country ski's are helpful to have when snow is deep.
Campground facilities are open between May 1st and October 31st and include a shower house, cooking pavilion, general store as well as other amenities.
The cabin has a full size bed and bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. It has a mini fridge, hot plate, coffee maker and electric hot water kettle. In winter months 5 gallon filled water coolers are provided. Clean latrines also available winter months.
This is a drug and alcohol free facility. Camp Earth Connection provides a space for catching a "natural high." Experience the natural world and all the beauty and wisdom it has to offer.+ More
