Property Description

This large triplex is located in a restored townhouse from pre-1900, with a mix of original detail and contemporary finishings. W/B fireplace, garden, large deck, open floor plan. Very close to subways, movie theater, restaurants.

Brooklyn townhome built around 1900. Huge 3 bedroom + media room. Living room, dining room and granite/stainless kitchen with custom bamboo cabinetry and a half bath on the parlor floor.

The garden level has the master bedroom, master bath, full bathroom and 2 smaller bedrooms. The master BR has a king size bed and bifold glass doors that lead out to the garden. The other two bedrooms each have a full size bed. We also have an air mattress for an extra guest.

One floor down is the Media Room with radiant floor heating, laundry and half bath.

Guest Access

Entire apartment plus garden.

Interaction with Guests

Depending on timing, we may or may not meet you upon arrival. If not, I will have my father meet you, who lives only 10 minutes away.

The Neighborhood

There's so much to say about Cobble Hill. Countless bars, side walk cafes, restaurants and coffee shops. The movie theater is one block away. The phenomenal Brooklyn Bridge Park, Bike and walking path through the Columbia Waterfront district. Also walking distance from a grand library, other parks and playgrounds, and more shopping.

Groceries are readily accessible at Union Market (2 blocks away), Trader Joe's or get free delivery through instacart from Fairway, Costco and Whole Foods (or delivery trhough Amazon Fresh or Freshdirect).

Getting Around

Two blocks from the F train. Also busses on Court Street and easy taxi access on Smith. Ons stop to Jay street or 10 minute walk for nine more subway lines.

Other Things to Note

There are two tenants in the building, upstairs. There is no need to interact if you want your privacy -- they use the entry at the top of the stairs, you can use that or the entry under the stairs on the garden level.

There is extra firewood in the backyard-- help yourselves.

We often order food from instacart (Fairway). They can usually do same day delivery, but it's best to order a day ahead. Let us know if you need help with that.
