Bennett's 1815 House is an historic country inn, having been the original stage stop along the route to the Connecticut River. It has been restored as a home with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, large kitchen, formal dining room and several indoor and outdoor gathering areas. The property rambles over almost 7 acres of field and forest with our own brook. You'll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere to use as your home base while exploring the Vermont countryside, participating in local events (GMHA horse events, Queechee Balloon Festival, Vermont 100, etc.) hiking, skiing, biking, just relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped so you can prepare delectable meals with the local produce, or you may prefer to enjoy the local restaurants. Whatever your tastes, you will find a welcoming home at the 1815 House.
