The 3 Bedroom 2 bath condo is on the grounds of Turtle Bay and offers all the amenities of this world famous resort, which include a heated swimming pool and tennis courts a few steps away from the unit, golf, horseback riding, surfing lessons, hiking and biking trails, and bike rental. Exercise classes and full spa programs are available at the Resort, as well as various dining options on the grounds. Turtle Bay's beaches offer safe swimming and are about a ten minute walk from the unit. The mater bedroom has a queen size bed and there are two twin beds in both of the second and third bedrooms. This unit is air conditioned.
The kitchen is fully equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, over the range microwave, dishes, pots and pans, glassware, cutlery, rice maker, toaster, coffee maker, you need to feel at home. Please NOTE, THAT THE UNIT IS REASONABLY PRICES BECAUSE THE FURNISHINGS ARE OLDER AND CARPETS WORN.
Local area: On the North Shore of Oahu, you have the opportunity to watch world class surfing at the surfing championships held here. Or, depending on your own surfing levels, you have famous surfing beaches within a few miles of the condo (Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach are only 6 miles west). For cultural events and local scenery, Waimea Valley's lovely botanical gardens and waterfalls are 7 miles west and the Polynesian Cultural Center which offers a look at Polynesia's customs, dances and has an evening luau and show 6 nights a week, is 7 miles east. You mustn't miss Ted's Bakery, on the road to Haleiwa, a historic surfing town about 11 miles west of the condo. Drive over the old bridge and buy a shave ice along with the locals, or eat at one of the local restaurants or shrimp trucks parked along the side of the road. Rent a canoe and sail along Haleiwa River or surf at the beginners' beach in Haleiwa Park
Whale Watching: From December to March you have unlimited opportunities to watch humpback whales taking their vacation in the warm Hawaiian waters off Oahu. You can watch from the beach or take a ride on a whale watching boat to view these gentle giants from up close. The females come here to give birth and you are sure to see lots of youngsters following mum around before they make their way back to Alaska for the summer months.
