KP Vista Cottage

This roomy cottage makes for a wonderful budget-minded space which overlooks KP Lake. Just a short drive from Grayling, 4 miles from the North Branch (NB) of the famous Au Sable River, 20 minutes from the main stream. The Au Sable River is known for it's fabulous trout fishing. You can enjoy the view of KP Lake from the fire pit and sitting area on the side of the cottage. You only have neighbors on one side of the cottage, so it is ideal for those who like to relax as a family. On the other side of the cabin is a woodland area; a great place to play hide and seek with the kids. In addition, you can launch your boat just down KP Lake Road.
When you enter the cottage, you immediately see the convenience of the
main floor washer-dryer. Then, you are greeted by the open kitchen and bar area.
Downstairs, you will find a comfortable sitting area. Grayling, which is located in Crawford
County is a hunter's dream! 70% of the land here is owned by the
federal and state government and the majority of it is open to the public.
Archery, rifle and muzzle-loading seasons are held here. You will find various
wildlife-deer, turkey, goose, squirrels, rabbits, waterfowl and much more.

*10 minutes from Lake Margrethe--one of Graylings larger lakes and is known for its great fishing, boating and swimming. The crystal clear lake is filled with bass, perch, pike, walleye, bluegill, tiger and muskie. Lake Margrethe offers up ice fishing in the winter.
- Manistee River- one of Michigan's best fly fishing rivers for catching trout, salmon and steelhead. It's well-known for smallmouth bass fishing as well.
