Welcome to this beautiful single story multilevel adobe estate on 5 acres tucked away in the rural foothills of Vista. Enjoy the peaceful and relaxing country atmosphere. Surrounded by mature tropical and desert landscape. The layout and architecture provides a resort like ambiance. Wonderful amenities and experiences await you, a swim in the pool or a hike around the land will invigorate your soul; Interactions with our friendly farm animals will make you forget all your worries! Sitting on the veranda overlooking the pool and background view of the rolling hills is relaxing and peaceful or challenge yourself on the putting green or various other games...you will enjoy every moment!

The house comes stocked with essentials such as bath towels, iron and ironing board, all kitchen ware for cooking and serving, consumables, and safety items such as fire/smoke detectors, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit. Enjoy complimentary keurig flavored coffee in the kitchen and master suite, and complimentary bottled water.

The property is very quiet and private, you feel like you're far away from it all but conveniently located within 5 to 15 minutes to everything including excellent dining, shopping, night life, great micro-breweries, Sunshine mountain winery just down the street, 15 min to Stone Brewery, 15 min to Legoland, 20 min to the Safari park (aka Wild Animal park) 45 min from down town San Diego, 20 min to the beach. Highway 78 is 5 min away, the 15 fwy is 10 min away and the 5 fwy 15 min away. Also just 5 min away from the train station.

CAPACITY:

It sleeps a total of 16 max. (14 adults, 1 child, 1 baby).

All bedrooms have their own private entrance and their own full bathroom.

Below are our House Rules, please make sure you read them prior to booking and prior to your arrival as they are strictly enforced.

  1. Disclaimer: The Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting and making a reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise and agree to abide by the House Rules.

  2. Arrival and Departure: Check-in time is 4:00pm, and check-out time is 11:00am. Cleaning and maintenance are pre-scheduled, so adhering to the check-out time is very important. Please depart at the agreed upon time to ensure the home can be cleaned properly for the following guests. Prior to check out, we kindly request that you leave the home in the same orderly fashion as when you arrived.

  3. Home Maintenance: Property caretakers may need to enter the property during your stay to access the garage for tools, landscape, irrigate, or maintain/clean pool.

  4. Guest Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 16 persons (including adults and children of all ages), 2 of which will need to use our two portable folding beds, and 2 of which could fit on the queen sized futon in the master bedroom, 1 kid could easily and comfortably sleep on the chaise next to the queen sleeper sofa, and one baby could sleep in the portable pack-n-go cribb. Please no extra guests, events or parties without prior approval from home owners.

  5. Housekeeping: We have the house professionally cleaned prior to every reservation, but please make sure your dishes are cleaned and that everything is in the general place that you found it on arrival. This helps keep our cleaning fee down. There is no daily housekeeping service. The cleaning fee is for a standard cleaning only. Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. If our home is left in poor condition and additional cleaning is required, additional cleaning costs will need to come out of your deposit. We are happy to arrange a mid-stay cleaning for an additional fee with advanced notice if availability allows.

  6. Parking: Parking is limited to 6 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Parking on the road is not permitted. The garage is not included in the rental.

  7. Pool Safety: You are responsible for yourself, your children and everyone in your party. No swimming alone. No swimming for kids under 14 without adult supervision. No glass in the pool area. No running or rough play in pool area.

  8. Quiet Times: Please, please, please be very respectful of our neighbors. No noise past 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and no noise past 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Our neighbors are all pretty cool but if we receive any noise or nuisance complaints from them, or the police gets called out we will have to ask you to vacate immediately, as our ability to provide this house as a vacation rental is affected by how our neighbors feel, and we will not compromise that.

  9. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside or near the house, smoking in the pool area or in the front driveway is ok. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. Due to the high risk for fires in this area, smoking is not allowed anywhere else on the property.

  10. Fires: Due to the high risk for fires in this area, no wood fires allowed other than in the propane fire pit provided in the pool area or the fireplaces inside the home. Also no fireworks or sparklers are allowed.

  11. Air Conditioning / Heating: Guest agrees that Air conditioning shall not be set below 72 degrees and heat shall not be set above 78, and that the fan setting shall be "Auto". Please close doors and windows when either heat or air conditioning is in use. There are no refunds for malfunctioning HVAC units.

  12. System(s), Furnishings, or Amenity Disruptions: In the event the property experiences a failure of a system, including but not limited to TV, Internet/WiFi, HVAC (heat/AC), water, sewer, septic, electrical, propane, plumbing, mechanical, appliances, ventilating, pool, or other structural systems, furnishings or amenities, owners will make every reasonable effort to promptly repair or replace the failed system or equipment. The property owners shall not be liable to Guest for damages, and no refunds will be given for such failures.

  13. Water and Septic: The property is on a septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products (i.e. tampons), no flushable wipes should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that anything other than toilet paper has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500.

  14. Events: Bachelor/bachelorette parties, or similar, are NOT allowed.

No parties or events are allowed unless approved by property owners, and additional fees and deposits are paid upfront. Weddings and other events will require rental of port-a-potties, parking/traffic control, additional insurance, additional clean up and waste handling...etc. If you're interested in having an event such as a wedding, a birthday party with additional people not in the original booking, or a corporate/company event...etc, please contact home owners for approval and pricing.

  1. Pets: (dogs only) must weigh less than 20 lbs, be a non-shedding breed, and kenneled when unsupervised. 2 dogs maximum. Please do not allow them to go potty on the putting green at the front of the house.

  2. Security: We are in a very safe area, and we respect the privacy of our guests, but we do have a few security cameras around the exterior of the house/property and courtyard. These cameras are in place strictly for added security purposes only, in the event of a break-in, theft or accidents.

By accepting these rules, you agree to use the home and its amenities at your own risk. Owner is not liable for any injuries/accidents that may occur during your stay while on the property. We've put a lot of time and energy into making this a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Please be respectful of all the furniture and decorations. Should you have any questions or needs, we are your distant next door neighbors and can quickly assist you.
