The modern, spacious and bright 4 (5) bedroom and 3.5 bath home is centrally located in Old Mountain View, only two blocks away from Castro Street, the heart of Downtown Mountain View . It' also situated on one of the prettiest tree-lined streets in all of Mountain View, providing a truly beautiful backdrop for a California vacation.

With an open floor plan and an abundance of windows all around the house, the inside is always gleaming with California sunshine, from the early morning to the late evening hours. Large double doors open the kitchen and the downstairs bedroom up to the beautiful backyard which is in full bloom during the summer months. Despite the architecture letting in the outside, the house offers a very private setting for your family and friends, including the fully private backyard.

In addition, this home offers a large game room/bonus bedroom in its bright basement. Also in the basement are the laundry room that doubles as a small workshop for kids projects. And after a game of ping pong, the downstairs bathroom provides a spa-like setting with a large Japanese tub and a spacious custom Canadian cedar wood sauna and hot and cold rain showers.

If you enjoy entertaining and the garden, you'll appreciate the large double doors giving you direct access to the flagstone patio. For hot afternoons, two large umbrellas provide the necessary shade. And for any spare relaxation time, the extra large and comfortable hammock is always in high demand. Complement this with a nice BBQ, and you will not want to leave this small piece of paradise.

We're also a short walk to the Steven's Creek Trail, as well as Caltrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco and San Jose) and Light Rail. Close to highways CA85, US-101, CA237 and I-280 (although you can't see or hear any of them). Close to Googxx, Linked!n, Facebxxk, Microsoft, Apple, and many other high-tech companies. Less than 6 miles to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital and 1.5 miles to El Camino Hospital.

Although close to so many things, this home is still on a very quite residential street. If you're doing anything that may create excessive noise or any problems for the neighbors, we're confident this is not the listing for you. Thanks for understanding.

If you have any issues with check-in and check-out times or any special requests for your arrival, please just let us know. Some friends from the East Coast cannot start a day without Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Not just any coffee, it has to be their brand. Caf or Decaf? Soy milk or Half-n-half? If you have a request, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Please keep in mind that a small Lhasa Apso dog lives in this home normally (but will not be there with you). Please look it up if you need to, but supposedly this breed of dog is less likely to cause allergic reaction than others. However, if you or anyone in your group has allergies, please consider this carefully.
