We are centrally located on a quiet street, just 3 blocks from the Shakespeare festival & Lithia park. Enjoy the comfort of our remodeled historic Ashland home with mountain views from our garage-top patio.

One of the only locations in Ashland that will comfortably accommodate a family or group!

Our home is in an historic Ashland neighborhood and was built in 1909. The house is 1500 ft.² and has been updated with modern comforts. We are located less than a 5 minute walk from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), a stone's throw from Ashland's many restaurants & bars. No need for a car when you stay here. Park in our provided spots and forget about it. Everything is within walking distance! When you are finished with your night on the town enjoy the hot tub beneath an arbor of concord grapes!

The home is historic, but newly remodeled and sleeps up to 7. There is a luxurious California-King size bed, as well as a queen and twin both in the second bedroom and a comfortable Queen wall-bed in the study. Traveling with kids? A Pack-n-play crib is available. Air conditioning, gas heat, and a wood-burning stove keep this environment comfortable year round. Those who like to cook will appreciate the modern, well-appointed, kitchen complete with Aga stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. Guests are welcome to use the grill on the back patio. We provide the coffee. We also have seat cushions, blankets & binoculars that you may use at the Shakespeare festival.

The property has a steep staircase and is not wheelchair friendly. The property is a non-smoking, non-vaping environment.

During the OSF off-season come and enjoy Ashland's excellent restaurants, hiking trails & Mt. Ashland ski resort.

Please be aware that the house manager, Dwight, resides in the small guesthouse on the property. He may be the friendliest person you'll ever meet, but he will respect your privacy. He's available at all times to answer questions, help with any issues that may arise, and point you toward the best fly fishing spots around!

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire home, hot tub and garage-top patio with excellent views.

Interaction with guests

We love to meet the people who come to share our space and are happy to answer any questions about the area.

Again, our very friendly house manager and family member Dwight lives in the small cottage behind the main house on the rental property. He is available at all times to help with whatever is needed.

The neighborhood

Our home is located on a quiet street in the heart of downtown Ashland. The Shakespeare festival and most of Ashland's restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk from the house.

Getting around

We have 2 on-street parking spots. The garage is not currently available for parking, but can be used for storage if guests require.

Much of the art in our home is original and provided by talented artist Chris Bechler. His work is for sale. His contact information is located in the house manual. Prices of his paintings are available upon request.
