This one-of-a-kind completely renovated classic trailer is the perfect getaway accommodation. Situated on a 5 acre Tuscan style estate only 4 mi. from downtown Ashland and 13 mi. from Medford airport you'll be surrounded by spectacular views, an abundance of fine food, entertainment (including the world famous Shakespeare and Britt Festivals), nightlife, endless family-friendly and outdoor activities, day trips to destination wineries, redwoods and Crater Lake and access to exclusive trails.

A 24’ 1977 Airstream that has been completely rebuilt by hand in every detail and lovingly renamed Arte Maris (Latin for "art from the sea"). Gutted and re-designed from the frame up including extending the entire height by about a foot, this gorgeous custom travel trailer feels amazingly spacious and is equipped with all the comforts and amenities of home. Features include: a fully functional galley kitchen with large sink, four burner gas stove, range hood, oven, fridge & freezer, solar panels, convertible sofa bed, dining table, heater and AC, on-demand hot water heater, shower, a small bathtub (we call it the dunking station), bathroom sink, closet/dresser with drawers, and a super comfortable and eco-friendly natural latex memory foam queen size bed. There is a surprising amount of storage everywhere. Please note the bathroom and bedroom are in the same room but they can be separated from the living room/galley area either by closing the curtains or opening the closet door.

It was a fulfillment of a dream to build this space and live/travel in it for a couple of years. We loved our time in it and hope you will too. If you are interested, we made a short video of approx. 30 min documenting the entire renovation process.

Outside Arte Maris, you can enjoy the spectacular views sitting at your private table and chairs under a beautiful shade tree.

Our property is accessible only from one private road that is shared with several other farms and horse ranches. The house sits near the valley floor, but at the top of a gentle slope that terminates at the base of a beautifully wild and undeveloped mountain. Because of this we enjoy a great deal of privacy and expansive views of the town of Talent and the surrounding Rogue Valley without the challenges that come with living higher up in the mountains. You will feel immersed in the countryside and surrounded by nature yet just a few minutes away from town. Mountain hikes are a short distance away as well as a destination restaurant and a famous hot springs wellness center.

There is ample parking for several cars immediately adjacent to the site. Please ask us about our exclusive access to the surrounding trails.

We are currently hosting two beautiful and friendly horses. Guests are welcome to visit them, they will enjoy the interaction especially if you have some carrots to share. Please do not let young children or pets near the horses unaccompanied. Please note that interaction with the horses is at your own risk.

We enjoy meeting our guests from all walks of life and welcoming them upon arrival as well as giving a short briefing on how the different systems in the Airstream work. We are a family with one child and twins on the way. We also have an old and very well behaved dog. We are available should you have any questions or need anything to help make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable but we respect your privacy and consider the Airstream and immediate surrounding area private for our guests. If something isn't working please let us know immediately.

There are children and pets on the property. Please drive slowly and if you are traveling with a pet keep them on a leash or crate at least until we have met and established the spaces. Pets may not be left unattended on the property or in the Airstream unless they are in a crate. A crate is not provided.

The Downtown Ashland I-5 exit is about 2 miles southeast. The Talent exit on I-5 is about 2 miles northeast. Route 99 parallels I-5 and is used for local north/south traffic. Talent Ave intersects our private road and a left turn will take you to the nearest grocery store, restaurants, and theater in downtown Talent in 3 mins. while a right turn will connect you to 99 about 4 miles north of the heart of downtown Ashland. There are plenty of walking and biking options around including the The Bear Creek Greenway, a biking and hiking trail connecting Ashland, Phoenix, Medford, and Central Point along Bear Creek and other exclusive trails.

There is plenty of parking at the property but please let us know if you are coming with oversized vehicles. We have two bicycles available for guests use.

Public transportation is also available a few minutes walk from the house.

We speak fluent English, Italian and Spanish.

Discounted monthly rates are only available during the low season.
