Property Description

Comfortable, clean, and well equipped home with great indoor and outdoor space. Centrally located and close to everything - 15 min from Airport, downtown PDX, and walking distance to countless restraurants, bars, and shops in Beaumont Village and NE 42nd. Ave. Walk score of 81 and bike score of 93. You'll love my place because it is located near several parks, close-in to downtown, and near great neighborhood hubs for eating and drinking (Beaumont, Alberta Arts, Concordia, Mississippi and Hollywood). Within mins. of Hwy 84, 205, and 5, several bus lines and the Hollywood Transit Center. A very safe and friendly neighborhood.

The space: This is a great home with lots of charm. Great indoor and outdoor space including large deck and newly remodeled basement with additional space for lounging and relaxing. This is a three story house with a master bedroom upstairs and a half bathroom attached, the other bedroom is on the main floor next to a full bathroom with tub and shower, sofa bed in den/office to accommodate additional guests, and an awesome basement space with an additional full bathroom, laundry, large TV, comfy couch and bar. All bedrooms have comfortable beds and linens. Well equipped kitchen with all the essentials for cooking and entertaining. Dining area with seating for 6 people. Wireless internet with Roku streaming (Hulu, HBO, Netflix) and DVD player. There is plenty of parking in front of the house and there are 2 bus lines close to the house.

Interaction with guests:

We will be located locally when our home is being rented out and easily accessed by phone or email. We're more than happy to answer any questions you might have while staying in our home!

The neighborhood:

Great restaurants and shops within walking distance (Fremont and 42nd are the immediate hubs) - Old Salt Marketplace, Pizza Jerk, Pip's Original, Grand Central Bakery, Noho's Hawaiian, Bang Bang Curry, Alameda Brewery, McPeets Tavern, Beaumont Market, Gazelle Natural Fiber Clothing, and many more! There are also a handful of great parks in the area including Wilshire Park and Fernhill Park which are within walking distance and both have off leash dog areas.

Getting around:

Close to Hollywood Transit Center and light rail. Stops for bus lines 24 & 75 are within 1-2 blocks from house. About 15-20 mins. drive from Portland International Airport, 2 miles to Hollywood Transit Center, and 5 miles to Union Station (Amtrak).

  • Guests are welcome to use the fire pit in the backyard but we ask that you are extremely careful (please no big fires and completely extinguish when done) and respectful of noise levels while outside.
  • We love animals and we are more than happy to have them in our home. Please be mindful and respectful of wear and tear on our home including carpet, wood floors, furniture, etc. There is a $40 pet fee to be paid at time of booking. You will be asked to sign a pet addendum prior to your arrival.
  • We ask that all guests respect our neighbors by being quiet after 10pm.
