2018 Estes Valley Vacation Home Registration #3236
Tucked next to Little Prospect Mountain and along the Big Thompson River. Next to Redemption Cabin of Estes Park: VRBO #467865.
This Mountain Life Cabins are fully restored original works of Old Estes Park. Redemption Cabin (circa 1914 and 1st of 3) was fully restored by 2013 [VRBO #467865]. Exploration Cabin (circa 1928), second in line, was remade by 2017. Exploration takes its inspiration from early area grizzled gold miners. It features beautiful hand-select reclaimed wooden materials and very fine rustic touches throughout.
Like Redemption Cabin, Exploration Cabin is superb and affords travelers the unique opportunity to experience authentic mountain village life and endless outdoor adventure from one easily-accessible place. Ex Cab comes with these extras: Coffee Bar, Map Room and more beds.
It is best suited for couples, friends, and small families (up to 6) seeking renewal, revival, adventure, or natural escape.
THE SPACE: Exploration Cabin resides in a storybook picture perfect natural setting. Bright sunny mornings, moonlit evenings.
The cabin is sheltered under the rocky crags and cliffs of Little Prospect Mountain. It sits on the east side the Big Thompson River on its last big bend before merging with Fall River. The area is navigated by foot, bike, vehicle, carriage, tube, and kayak.
Guests are renewed and sustained by sights and sounds of rushing snow-fed streams, the gentleness and grandeur of surrounding snowcapped massifs, forested steeps, lumpy ridges, granite gorges, chaos canyons and alpine lakes. Never feeling so alive.
The Cabin has a cozy living room with comfortable furnishings. Opposite is a 50" wall mounted Samsung UHD TV with soundbar. A parlor gas stove sets a cozy stage.
The kitchen is brand new, yet primitive. Check the photos. Itsis fully equipped and has dishes and utensils enough to serve 6.
The coffee bar is just off the kitchen. Help yourself to the pantry items. Coffee, tee and hot chocolate are also provided.
Study maps and guides, plan hiking treks and fishing trips, or just curl up and read a good book in the Map Room.
The master bedroom is fit for King and Queen. The bunk room is better for kids.
We invite you to experience Exploration and it's spectacular environment, unforgettable moments, and perfect rest. We will do all we can to insure your senses are ignited, body refreshed, heart rejuvenated, and your life perfectly reset; the promise of This Mountain Life at its best.
