Mountain Spirit River House is remote, spacious, quaint, and historic. We truly have it all. Come for the quiet or come for the party.

(25 miles south of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and 25 miles north of Chama, New Mexico)

Mountain views, river views. Go hiking. Go fishing.

Melt into the luxurious beds at night. Have coffee on the deck in the morning.

Need to check in with the office? We have wifi and a land line.

Enjoy original art throughout the River House.

We have truly tried to think of everything to make your stay very enjoyable. Bring a few or bring many and discover this unique place at the end of the road.

If you get a little cabin fever, just drive 23 miles north to Pagosa Springs for dining, shopping, antiquing and soaking in the famous hot springs. These springs are the “deepest in the world”! You can also book rafting, dog sledding, snow-mobiling and many other adventurous activities. Wolf Creek Ski Area which has the “most snow in Colorado” is only 45 miles away! The Cumbres and Toltec Train Ride is just down the road in Chama, NM and has been voted “best train ride in America” by USA Today. The world-class art town of Santa Fe is a little farther, taking about 3 hours.

But we really think you will want to spend all your time at Mountain Spirit River House because it is an exclusive, cozy setting which emanates a feeling of warmth and intimacy. Soak in the mountain air. . . soak in the quiet. . .

Guided fly fishing $500 per day per 2 anglers. Subject to availability – make your reservations early. All fly fishing must be guided. All fly fishing is catch and release.
