We have been staying at the Whaler for 25 years and finally purchased! We waited for a dream location and our patience paid off. May 2017 we purchased Unit 1159 and started the remodel! December 2017 we finished! It turned out GREAT! Aston has rated our unit at their highest level.
Location-Location-Location it offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the 214 SF Lanai - sunsets are breathtaking.
It's approximately 50 yards to the beach.
Looking East toward the West Maui Mountains you'll enjoy beautiful sun-rises and mountain views.
Our NEWLY REMODELED (2017) Unit has 1 bedroom / 2 baths. Living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and a king bed in the bedroom. 2 Flat Panel TV's each have cable & a DVD player. Living Room TV also has a DVR. Wireless Internet throughout. Ceiling Fans in both the Living Room and Bedroom. Fully Air Conditioned. One of the bathrooms has a stand up shower the other bath has a large soaking tub w/shower. Both bathrooms have been renovated. Brand new vanities with granite counters.
This awesome kitchen (which is open to the living room/dining room) has wood cherry cabinets, all new GE black stainless steel appliances, granite island, quartz counters & sink and is fully equipped.
The living room has a sofa sleeper and the bedroom has a king size bed.
This is our Winter Home and we have chosen to share it with you. We hope you love it as much as we do and take care of it like it were your home.
The Whaler charges $20.00 per day for use of the tennis courts, parking, beach chairs, spa/sauna, pool with unlimited fluffy beach towels. Free washer and dryer on each floor. Pool side coffee in the mornings and ice cold water in the afternoon.

This unit is on the south side which is the sunny (less-windy) side-THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DETAIL! If it's windy and you're on the shady side it can be cold on the lanai, that's why we always chose to stay on the less windy side. Summer has wonderful shade on the lanai but when the trade winds blow you don't get the wind.

*Right next door is Whalers Village. Shops, restaurants, ice cream stores, entertainment. We love JD on Friday and Saturday (3-5) at Leilani's.
*2-Golf courses right out front of the Whaler.
*Downtown Lahaina is just a short drive, 3.5 miles. Filled with shops, restaurants, theater, movie theater, food markets and more.
*4 miles to the Lahaina Harbor.
*8 miles to Kapalua - Championship Golf at 2 courses and there is a beautiful 1.5 mile beach walk along the shore.
*8 miles to our favorite Sushi restaurant, Sansei in Kapalua!
