This 1905 dwelling is close to the city center, parks, restaurants and dining, art and culture, and great views. You’ll love the location because of its proximity to downtown and all directions towards the ocean, the people, and the ambiance. Fernwood, and thus Victoria, is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
According to the current laws and location of my home, my Business Licence affords me a delegation of a 1 or 2 bedroom. shared accommodation. This being said, you may never see me during your stay and have a full house to yourself if you want - let's talk! I have several bedrooms, plus a futon and a pull-out couch for plenty of sleeping options; it is possible to sleep up to 8 people. I live on the corner of a quiet neighborhood, 20 minute walk, 3 minute drive, or 7 minutes with one of my many bikes that can be rented for transportation to downtown. I am glad that I can offer my whole home to those travelling, especially when vacancy rates are very tight in Victoria, particularly a location close to downtown. I can also offer you a rate that is more economical than several hotel rooms for a larger group and/or the benefit of a kitchen and household amenities. You must know that old houses do take a lot more effort to keep clean and up-to-date. I tell you this as I am in the process of doing some small updates to make the space more comfortable. With this comes some minor flaws from temporary renovations of a new gas fireplace and adjustments (hardly noticeable). It is my home. This said though, I look forward to providing an even better accommodation in the near future with these additions. I wish you a great stay and message me if you need anything, prior or during your stay.
Ask if you do require more and I am sure that we can make it work; I want your stay to be both comfortable and more affordable.
The house is set up to fit 8 people (any combination of adults and/or children). I could possibly add to this by way of an air mattress in the dining room, but this and the pull-out sofa are not as comfortable as the beds nor futon.
One of the noted bed types is a futon, which is in one of the main bedrooms, but can be beneficial in that it can be moved to another room, like the unoccupied dining room.+ More
