New for 2018!!! Travel deal on for stays in May till mid June!
Traditional Newfoundland charm and an amazing ocean view but yet so close to St. John's and attractions, this cottage offers the best of both worlds. Located in the historic and picturesque town of Flatrock, this traditional old cottage sits right on the ocean with a magnificent unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean. It is located just a 15 minute drive from St. John's airport (YYT) and 20 minutes from downtown St. Johns.
The cottage has been fully updated and restored for your comfort including a large wrap around deck to enjoy the sights, sounds and smell of the ocean including icebergs, whales and fishing activity. There is also a small pond with trout in it alongside our deck frequented by ducks and other birds.
Inside, it is fully furnished, equipped and well stocked with everything that you need to move in! All soaps, detergent, paper products, foils, coffee, tea, condiments, cable TV and wifi all provided.
The East Coast Trail has trail heads a short walking distance from the house. This makes our cottage ideal if you are hiking the trails. The trail is world class with spectacular views along the coastline.
For those booking, we email a PDF information booklet upfront for trip planning outlining the house amenities, directions, town information and the must do attractions in the area. We are originally from the area and can help you with any vacation planning, trail hiking suggestions or anything to help make your Newfoundland vacation experience unforgettable!
We have sister property in Torbay (5-10 minutes away) operating for the past 4 years providing our visitors an amazing Newfoundland experience and all 5 star reviews. See below link.
