This comfortable and cozy, insulated 3 bedroom cottage is located in the Heart of Muskoka. A spectacular eastern exposure on level property faces wide-open view of scenic wooded view of rocky shoreline and private woods. This land property offers splendid sunrises, excellent swimming and easy access to public landing and parking. The beautiful pine cottage features a large screened muskoka room, pine floors, pine ceilings and walls and beautiful pine kitchen cabinets. Mainland is a 5-minute boat ride to the landing; a 10-minute ride will take you to Bala by car or boat. Enjoy the lake view from front or the woods from the back deck.

Bedroom Description

Bungalow style cottage: Open concept living room, dining room and kitchen, ‘L’ shaped with open high ceilings in all rooms. Kitchen – Well equipped with modern stove, fridge, microwave, washer and dryer and island sink facing the lake. Harvest table inside seats 6, Vermont Casting wood stove, 3 BEDROOMS - (1) db, pine wood floor, (1) db, pine wood floor, (1) db, pine wood floor. Ideal for 5 or 6 persons. Additional sleeping on futon. BATH-1- 3 pce bathroom. Large screened Muskoka Room on the front. with large dining table for 8. Front porch viewing the lake includes two wooden muskoka chairs.

Location Description

Frontage 96 ft, shallow/deep entry lot is wooded, level around the cottage, very gentle slope from cottage to lake. Swim and boat from your private 35-ft dock, or walk in from shallow sandy shore. End of dock is suitable for diving. Step from side of dock onto a sand bottom where you can walk out into deep water. Shoreline is rock with boulders and with abundance of coniferous and deciduous trees. The land surrounding the cottage is level and provides easy access with 4 stairs to the dock. Lovely island-dotted, open lake view, mainly a south-east exposure features glorious sunrises. Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from nearby Bala Bay. A sheltered beach, with sand bottom water, is excellent for children, who can be watched from the large screened porch. Other activities include swimming, fishing, sailing, relaxing and kayaking. A spacious 30â?? dock is excellent for sunbathing, boats and swimming. Biking is great around the lakes and also from the Whiting Landing down Southwood Rd. through Torrance Barrens to Port Severn.

Our season runs from May 1st through October 31st

The weekend rate is $600.00 for 6 people with an added $50.00 charge for each additional person.

Free car parking, boat parking and free boat launching at the Whiting Rd. landing.

To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the tenancy. A cleaning service is not provided during the tenancy unless otherwise specified. 4. To permit the Owners and the Agents reasonable access to the property. 5. Not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party shown on the booking form. 6. Not to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property description and included on the rental application. 7. Not to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining premises.
