The Camp includes a swimming dock (attached to land with gangplank) and a floating boat house with 315 feet of waterfront. The 7.6 acre estate property is secluded (private road). There are two large stone fireplaces in the living and dining rooms, an original dining room table and chairs (made by the caretaker of the property and featured in many antiques magazines and books throughout the years).
Birch bark walls and real tree beams 'brings the outdoors inside'. Charming screened-in porch with petrified birch antique round table and lanterns, the perfect gathering space for evening or morning. Lovely dining that seats up to 12 people, with antique furniture made on the property many years ago. A 20-foot Lean To seats 10, with a cooking fireplace and overlooks the lake for sunset and evening bonfires. Eat one meal at one of the four dining spots (including the kitchen, dining room, screened in porch and lean-to).
Long Lake is a 14 mile long natural lake in the central Adirondacks. Close to the Adirondack Museum, Raquette Lake, Tupper Lale, Indian Lake, and Saranac Lake. Canoeing, hiking, and fishing are the main activities. Fully equipped kitchen and gas grille for amazing vacation meals. Quintessential Adirondack Escape.
This historical property is available for rent in the months of June, July and August for one week intervals. We also allow rentals for 4 day weekends in June and September. June is the beginning of the season, and Sept/Oct are fall foliage bonanzas. There is no better foliage than the millions of acres of foliage you see in the Adirondack wilderness (see our Facebook page for photos of the foliage).
