This is a downstairs studio apartment which looks out onto a lush yard which the previous owner decorated with statues of various religions. This is a safe location with quick access to everything and close to the coast. The apartment has a simple kitchenette with freezer, fridge, garbage disposal, coffee maker and water boiler, electric 2 burner stove, microwave and toaster. Basics stocked for guests like tea, coffee, spices. There is one California king size bed and a futon which can also be used as a bed, or couch. There is a washer inside and a dryer outside. There is high speed wireless internet but no tv.
We have catchment water, it is double filtered and UV lighted and safe to drink. The hot water is on solar and enough for people showering, but not enough for full baths (tub). We live upstairs and have small dog, and the downstairs apartment is completely separate with access to the beautiful yard. Quick access to rt 130 also lots of coqui frogs singing. Everything is within close distance, shops in Pahoa, Kalapana and Uncle Roberts at wednesday nights, snorkeling at Kapoho is world class. Hilo is 25 minutes away, and of course Maku'u Farmers market on sundays.
