The landscape around this cabin is very similar to what you'd find in nearby Forest Park, a unique wildlife corridor close to the city with more than 150 miles of trails. We would be happy to point you to amazing hikes in the area.
You are welcome to climb down the rock stairway stepping stones that lead down to the creek, but please stay on the trail and watch out because it's very steep! Another trail will take you to the new vegetable garden. This is a nice place to sit and watch the sunset and pick greens for a salad.
The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bed. There is a 3rd room, a study with a desk and a couch - a nice place for reading or for working if you are on business. The couch can also convert into a twin bed, if 3 bedrooms are needed.
From the deck you can view the beautiful forest and the creek; many guests enjoy viewing the night sky, sunrises, and even enjoy their breakfast here, among the woodland creatures!
All we ask is that guests are respectful of the cottage. Please remove shoes while indoors. No smoking anywhere near doors or windows. If you would like to have a small gathering, please clear it with us first! There is room for one guest car in the driveway, but ample street parking is available.+ More
