The house is a big, old, Maine seaside home, comfortable and clean, but not precious or elegant. We have 5 bedrooms; 3 doubles, 2 singles. The upstairs bathroom has a claw-foot bathtub fitted with a shower. There is also a downstairs half bath. There is a washer and dryer and an old, but fully functional dishwasher.
From the eastern windows, one has a view of Passamaquoddy Bay and Campobello Island. A small deck provides a space to enjoy the breezes off the ocean. Air conditioning is provided by Mother Nature.
We are in a close, friendly neighborhood, with spaces for quiet reflection, yet we are just three blocks from the downtown with public pier, restaurants, and working waterfront. No barking dogs around just boats and fog horns. If you must stay in touch with the modern world, we provide Cable and WiFi. However, we recommend that you enjoy the finer points of Eastport-simply walking about the town, watching the boats at the public breakwater, maybe casting a fishing line.+ More
